Most people do not know the benefits of taking probiotics, but if you are friends with me, you know how I won't go a day without taking my probiotics. I am not a big fan of eating yogurt on a daily basis so for me, taking supplements is best. Prior to this product, I take them in gummy bear form because it is easier for me to swallow. Now that I have ultra-50 probiotics, I actually take these instead. I've had cancer twice and that has resulted in some awful side effects including gastrointestinal ones. I've also had what is called c diff and was in the hospital for a while dealing with that nasty illness. Ever since I finished chemo, I have been taking probiotics religiously. These ones are very easy to swallow and I find that I don't have any negative side effects by taking them. They don't have to be left in the fridge like most do. They are a little large but still easy to swallow. My gastrointestinal health has never been better largely in part to probiotics. I highly recommend these!
