I've had my FitBit for a little bit over a year and wear it pretty much 5-6 days a week. The only times I don't are when I know I will be doing a lot of dirty work like a full day of cooking or a swimming day at the lake or floating down the river. Having a dust cover has never been anything that I truly needed but when I was given the chance to review it, I wasn't going to say no. There were so many different patterns and colors to choose from but I ended up going with this swirly pattern because it matched the purple of my band. When it arrived, it was really nice looking straight out of the box. It does take some effort to slide it on because it's a tight fit. I understand why. I wouldn't want it sliding around while doing my activities. But once you slide it over and get it positioned, it doesn't move. The actual cover keeps the dust out of the charge portion and allows for the sensor to be seen still. I have no complaints with this dust cover. It's cute and it does the trick and makes it stand out a little.
