First off, this isn't a miracle weight loss belt. You actually have to put in some dieting and exercise when you wear this. It is one size fits most but since I am already small, it doesn't fit me as well as it fits my husband who is bigger than me. You can wear it under your workout clothing and even though you will find yourself sweating more, it works best when worn during exercise. As far as being small goes, you won't notice too much of a difference. But if you have a few extra pounds to lose you will notice the water weight falling off quickly and will find your shorts and pants fitting a bit looser. It also helps with lumbar support too.
