Do you know that feeling when you know exactly what you want to say but the words just won't come out? Imagine dealing with that on a daily basis. Multiple times a day I know what I want but I can't relay what I am trying to say. Thankfully, my husband has become used to it and knows when to just let me be until it happens. Most people use cocoa butter for skin care and lotion but I use cocoa butter for something a little bit different. I spent my spring break taking the time to try out making bath bombs. There is something about throwing a bomb in the tub and just relaxing for hours! Most bath bombs are made with coconut or almond oils but I have seen some that include cocoa butter. I take a tablespoon or two of butter and melt it in a double broiler. I then mix it with the baking soda, citric acid and Epsom salts and then add my essential oils. They make my skin super soft after getting out of the tub and it just smells amazing. Now onto the product itself! The tub is huge. It's a pound of butter which will last you forever. It doesn't expire for two years so that is plenty of time to use it as lotion or in crafts. Also, their customer service is amazing and they are quick to get the product out. I can't say enough great things about this cocoa butter and highly recommend it for anyone who wants a new skin care routine or to use it in their arts and crafts. It can even make a great gift for someone you care for!

This bitter spray is really great for dogs, cats & horses. It's funny because I don't have dogs or cats but horses... that's another story. So given that chewing is a big problem on fences and food bowls, this spray was a great opportunity to see what would help work. All you have to do is spray it wherever you have issues with chewing. It can be on furniture  but make sure to test out a portion first to be sure that it doesn't stain.

While it says it is for ages 5-9 years old, I find that it probably is more suitable for the older children than the younger age bracket. It has plenty of space to write about interesting adventures, souvenirs that were purchased, and people you met. It's also got a place for you to put photographs or draw about your trip. I think that this is a great book for anyone with young kids who don't travel long distances very well. I highly recommend this product for all!

Since it's my spring break, I decided to try something new; making my own bath bombs. I'm already obsessed with Lush but the problem is my closest Lush is over 2 hours away and it can be quite expensive. I started checking out the price of making my own bombs and by using supplies from Costco and Sams Club, I was able to get all of my supplies for less than $20. 15 lbs of baking soda, 5 lbs of citric acid, 7 lbs of Epsom salts... a few other ingredients and most importantly bath bomb molds. I tried to use different molds like cookie cutters and ice ball maker molds. The problem was they were too flimsy or I had to let the bombs dry completely before removing them from the cookie cutters. I happened to find a review opportunity for bath bomb molds and wanted to give them a try.

 

I tried them out and while these are smaller than the usual "Lush sized bomb" they work better than any other molds I have tried. I fill one side with my mixture and pack it down. I fill the other side and pack that down. Lastly, I add extra loose filling to the center mold and squish them together while turning. I pop one side off the ball and let it dry in the other size for about half hour and then pop it back off. It is extremely useful in making bombs that are easy to mold. Occasionally one side will stick in too much to the mold but that has to do with my consistency of powder, not the mold itself.

 

I have to say I am very impressed with these molds and think they make great bombs when dry! I highly recommend these molds because they are sturdy and easy to mold! And they are a great price!

These Ready Chef Go steamer bags are incredible! I was a bit skeptical at first since it said I could cook pork in 8-10 minutes in the microwave. But I gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised. I didn't want to make a lot since it was a pre-cooked ham. I didn't feel like I wanted to do it in the oven for hours so I sliced off enough to serve for dinner and stuck it in the bag. I sealed it up and put it in the microwave to open it up to the moistest ham ever! Now that I knew it worked, I tried it out with brussel sprouts and even went as far as doing roasted potatoes. These braided headbands are really lovely! They are tight fitting but not in the give you a headache after wearing them for half an hour way. I am used to wearing headbands like SweatyBands or other non-slip, non-headache bands. These are as comfortable as those products. I do like that they are black so I can wear them working out or wear them while I am out and about. I highly recommend these for anyone who has hair that gets in their face throughout the day.
