I honestly was surprised at how well this waterproof pad works. When you first open it, it is just like a blanket so I had no clue how it was going to keep any kind of water our other liquids out. So I did the normal thing, I took it to the kitchen and poured water on it to see if was going to hold water and to my surprise it did. It didn't soak through and it didn't make it a mess either. I was really impressed. Now, I have no doubt this will be used in the future and kept for years to come!
