They are, like most any compression socks, knee high length. They provide you with extra help with your circulation as well as keep your feet free of discomfort during long periods of time. They give you compression socks in the hospital because of the lack of blood flow. These do the same exact things but for your personal use at home. They are quite comfortable. my husband wears them while relaxing after a long day of work. We both also wear compression socks while running our half marathons and marathons. I highly recommend these socks for all!
