This is a great kettle for making a quick mug or cup of tea/coffee. I prefer having my tea steeping hot and then let it cool to drink and this kettle heats up drastically and quick. My loose leaf tea comes to flavor within minutes of being poured on. It's a very solid and sturdy kettle and being BPA free is a matter of liking it even more. I don't have to worry about anything leaching through or any cancer causing chemicals. The lid is spill free which is great for pouring in the early morning or late at night when you may or may not be completely awake. It's a great kettle that I highly recommend for all!
