I have been given the chance to review multiple bathroom products before and I usually am skeptical with certain types of products because I like to avoid parabens and unnecessary ingredients. I was approached by Keeva Organics via Instagram asking if I would be interested in reviewing their products. After checking out their website, I decided to go ahead and try it out because everything they use is stuff I would trust to put on my skin and hair. I asked to review their shampoo and bath bombs (another review to come) and I have to say, I am extremely pleased with this company and their products. They shipped to me promptly and I received the products without any dissatisfaction. I've been sent products that have busted during shipping and was pleased to see that they take care of their products to make sure that they won't be damaged before you get them.
My husband was the first person to try out the shampoo. He hopped in the shower and washed his hair with it and when he got out, he immediately said "I love this shampoo!" He said the shampoo made his hair so soft and smelled great. I felt his hair and it was soft but than again, he has short hair so I had to try it out for myself. I really needed to wash my hair because it was after a day spent playing in the fields with the alpaca. It was greasy and had alpaca hair and dirt in it amongst other things. Off to the shower I go to see just how great this shampoo works.
After pumping a few pumps because of my hair being longer, I began massaging it into my scalp and getting all areas of my head. The smell was lovely. I notice the tee tree oil first because I am familiar with that scent. The coconut oil and argan oil don't have an obvious smell to me but I saw exactly what they did to my hair when I had finished washing. I didn't need to condition because after the wash, I already felt "clean" while rinsing my hair. I don't blow dry immediately because of the heat but after letting my hair air dry in a towel for a little bit, I already felt how soft it was. I turned to the blow dryer to finish off the drying process and was so in love with how my hair just shined. Not only was it amazingly soft but it shined and had volume! And even better, my hair smelled amazing. I know the coconut oil and argan oil were responsible for the shine and the tea tree oil helped with keeping my hair amazingly clean. I just wasn't expecting such a fantastic outcome from such simple ingredients. To really test out the product, I used it back to back nights when washing my hair. I usually only was my hair a couple times a week but I just wanted to see what would happen using it again the next night. I did the same thing and my hair turned out the exact same; shiny and voluminous. I was thrilled!
Now that I have found a shampoo I love and can use without having to worry about what I am putting in my hair. I've already had cancer twice, I don't want to risk using anything that could cause any harm to my body regardless of whether it is topical or ingested. The shampoo itself comes in a large bottle and the pump is very easy to use. It doesn't take a lot to get a good wash. This is a company that I will purchase from in the future and will continue to share their products amongst my peers. I highly recommend everything about them and look forward to trying out more of their products (conditioner, body was, etc)
