There are so few times that we actually use pencils here but it has seemed that more often than not, we have found ourselves needing one. Most of the time, the pencils needed sharpened when we do need to use one. It's a conundrum! Finally, I caved and reviewed this electric pencil sharpener. It runs off either 4 batteries or by USB plug in. I have only had to use it once but now I am glad that I have it because when I do need the pencil sharpened, it's readily available. It sharpens easily and isn't overly loud. It's a pretty great little sharpener for anyone who colors or uses pencils. Kids would benefit too!
