Aerial Hoop Winter Photoshoot

My friend Jenn and I have been waiting for a good snowfall to take the hoop out for a fun little photoshoot. The time had finally come and while it wasn't as much snow as we were looking for and it wasn't as warm as it could have been, we still had fun for our first try. Next time we are going to use Jenn's hoop as she has a larger one. This hoop belongs to my friend who I am borrowing while she is deployed. It did the trick though and we came out with some fun photos. I got an awesome Canon DSLR camera a couple months ago and finally am getting into using it frequently.

 

The photos that were shot of me were taken by my husband so they aren't as clear as they could be since he hasn't played with the camera as much as I have. You'll see a difference in the photos of me compared to the photos that I took of Jenn. Regardless, we both had fun and are using these photos as a critique of what to do in the future. For both of us, we ended up not liking many of them and various other little things like what to do with our arms, leotards that need sewed down, facial expressions and so on and so forth. I think it doesn't help that we are far too hard on ourselves.

When I was asked to review this remote control car, I didn't know what to expect since it was a Jr. car. Well, I can tell you that my questions were put to rest when the car arrived. I had this shipped to my best friends house for their kids while we went out there to visit them in California. It arrived the day before we got there so the youngest one (3) was able to figure it out on his own. His favorite part is the spin out because it goes super fast. When we got there, he showed me all of his favorite things to do with it. It works ok on carpet but is obviously better on hardwood floors or linoleum and tile.

 

He speaks better than the average 3 year old so the voice control recognizes his words easily. If you hold it too close it doesn't recognize it so you have to hold it back a little bit. The lights and sounds are fun but can be really loud at 6am if you aren't expecting it. The watch was a little big for his hand but for the average kid who plays with this, it would be perfect. He loves this little car and the only thing that he didn't like was how long it took to charge. Of course, for us, 45 minutes isn't long at all. For a 3 year old, it was a lifetime. But the car itself is a hit and even all the adults were using it too!

 

Not only is the car great but the company is fantastic to work with too. I used Amazon Prime to order so I had 2 day shipping but the product was shipped speedily and came packaged where it couldn't break. Their customer service is great as well and they are very accommodating.

One might ask why I would review a scarf when I knit scarves of my own? The reason why is simple, I live in a cold environment and when it is cold outside, you need more layers. I have plenty of chunky scarves that I made but I have never made a thick white scarf. This scarf is amazingly warm as it is made out of a cashmere type material. I wore it just last week under my winter coat since it was snowing and it matched my clothes perfectly. The other thing I love about this scarf is that it is long enough to wrap around you or you can double wrap it also. I plan on wearing this all winter with how cold it is outside and how soft this scarf is. I find it extremely comfortable and stylish.

I love the way that this hand soap smells and feels. The bottle is really large so for a foaming hand soap, you get multiple washes from this. Lemongrass is truly my favorite scent in the world and the grapefruit that it is mixed with it provides just the perfect mix. The soap doesn't dry out your hands either which is my favorite part of it. When you wash your hands a lot from cooking or doing arts and crafts, you tend to get dry hands from soaps. Not this one! If you want a great foaming hand soap, this is the one. I was provided with 2 bottles of this but I ended up saving one for me and giving one away to my best friend who has 6 people in her family and they all love the way it works!

This app is pretty great for being a new trial. There is only one thing I don't like about it; just how small the photos are. I was expecting a little bit better when I was told that it was going to be a free canvas print. What I actually got was a 2x2 sticker that was made to look like canvas. While the sticker was cute, it was a little different than anticipated. I think that this is what was meant by canvas but still, a little misleading. Either way, it's a good sticker and we put it on a magnet to put on the fridge. If you aren't expecting too much out of it, this would be a great little app.

This is a really great constructed shower head. I especially love that it comes with the Teflon tape because its something we have on hand but we usually are having trouble finding where we actually put it. The shower head is large and while you need your own large arm to go with it, it's still amazing. We had a similar one but we changed to this one because of how it looked better in the box.

I usually have a large supply of any sort of bath bombs in the bathroom. Whether it is Lush or another company, I just love to soak for hours on end with a bomb and some bubbles. When I opened this lovely box, I was pretty amazed with how pretty it was packaged. The bombs were all wrapped up lovely and the bubbles in the center were delightful. The only downfall to the bombs is that they are wrapped in a type of cellophane that is kind of tricky to open if you aren't planning on it. But once unwrapped they have a great smell and make the water feel so lovely. The scent isn't overpowering like some bombs I have used. It is just enough of a scent and feel that you get a nice relaxing soak.
